Napoli rejected €210m Osimhen bid
Victor Osimhen was the subject of an enormous transfer bid in the summer that Napoli rejected, Italian media have reported.
Osimhen was linked to a string of major clubs during the transfer window, but despite interest from Chelsea, PSG and Arsenal, no deal was done before the end of Deadline Day among Europe’s biggest leagues.
Faced with the threat of being frozen out entirely by Napoli, the 25-year-old Nigeria international striker ultimately moved to Galatasaray on loan, delaying what is surely his inevitable exit from the Serie A club.

Antonio Conte’s side were demanding big money for the striker. They were adamant that his €130 million release clause had to be matched in order for a deal to be struck, yet no side was willing to agree to this.
PSG and Chelsea both came close, with the Blues failing to agree personal terms of Deadline Day, while the Ligue 1 outfit came to an accord over a contract but could not broker a deal with Napoli.

PSG's huge Napoli offer
Indeed, details of an incredible €210m offer for Osimhen from PSG, who also wanted Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in the same agreement, have emerged from Corriere dello Sport (via SpazioNapoli).
Napoli, however, knocked this offer back, despite the combined Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of the pair coming to €136m.
The Italian club might have been willing to sell Osimhen for the right price, but they were certainly not keen to give up their two most important figures.
Indeed, they are actively in talks with Kvaratskhelia over a new contract, despite the prospect of the Georgia star being stuck in the same type of trap that Osimhen has found himself this summer. The difference, however, is that his wage packet will not be comparable to that of Osimhen.
