OFFICIAL: Anthony Gordon signs Newcastle contract extension
Anthony Gordon has officially signed a new long-term contract at Newcastle United.
The England international signed a three-and-a-half year deal upon his arrival from Everton in January 2023 and he has now extended his stay at St James’ Park.
The exact length of Gordon’s new contract hasn’t been disclosed by Newcastle, but he has committed his long-term future to the club after an impressive start to life under Eddie Howe.

The 23-year-old has 15 goals and 11 assists in 74 appearances for Newcastle, while he won the club’s Player of the Season award last campaign.
Furthermore, his form since joining the club earned him an inclusion in England’s squad for the 2024 European Championship, and Gordon now has seven senior caps for the Three Lions.

Upon news of his extended deal at St James’ Park, Gordon told the official Newcastle club website: “I just think the club's in a great place. Since the takeover it's just been up and up. Me and the gaffer are a perfect match in terms of style of play. I love it here.
