Chelsea to receive €150m Cole Palmer offer
Manchester City are prepared to pay €150 million to bring Cole Palmer back to the club, according to shock reports from Spain.
The 22-year-old left Pep Guardiola’s side to join Chelsea for €47m last summer and he has established himself as arguably the best player in the Premier League since his move to Stamford Bridge.
Palmer has 31 goals and 20 assists in 54 Chelsea games, while he was named England Men’s Player of the Year for 2023-24 during the October international break.

His Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) has risen by over €60m since joining Chelsea, while Palmer’s form earned him a nomination for the 2024 Ballon d’Or.
Spanish outlet Fichajes have now reported that Man City are willing to pay as much as €150m to bring Palmer back to the club next year.
He played just 41 times for City’s first-team during his time at the club, with only 13 of those appearances coming as starts, but Guardiola’s side are eager to re-sign him amid the uncertain future of Kevin de Bruyne.

The Belgium legend has been heavily linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League over the past few months and he is set to become a free agent next summer.
However, Man City’s chances of re-signing Palmer are extremely low, with the Englishman’s current deal at Stamford Bridge not due to expire until 2033.
Why did Cole Palmer leave Man City?
Palmer detailed the reason behind his Man City exit during an interview with Sky Sports this summer.
“My thing was to never leave City,” he admitted. “That was not my intention. I wanted to go on loan for a year, come back and be ready for the first-team.
“But they said I couldn’t go on loan, either stay or you get sold. So then, Chelsea rang me. I said I wanted to go to Chelsea and I’m really happy to be here.
“I’m very glad I made the decision to come here.”
