Arne Slot sets Liverpool RECORD after Chelsea win
Arne Slot has become the first Liverpool manager to win 10 of their first 11 games in charge of the club.
The Dutchman replaced Jurgen Klopp in July and he has enjoyed a fantastic start to life at Anfield, with the Reds currently top of the Premier League table ahead of Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.
Liverpool have picked up 21 points from a possible 24 so far this campaign, with their shock 1-0 home defeat to Nottingham Forest the only blemish on Slot’s record.

The ex-Feyenoord boss’ impressive start at Liverpool continued with a 2-1 win over Chelsea on Sunday afternoon, with goals from Mohamed Salah and Curtis Jones succumbing the Blues to their first defeat since the opening day of the new season.
As a result, Slot has now officially enjoyed the best start of any manager in Liverpool’s history. Furthermore, his win percentage currently stands at an incredible 90.91%.
Slot has only taken charge of 11 matches so far, but his record has been exemplary and his win percentage far outweighs the aforementioned Klopp in second place (60.9%).
Legendary manager Bob Paisley registered a 57.57% win percentage across his 535 games in charge of Liverpool, while Bill Shankly’s stood at 51.98%.

In addition to Slot’s record, Liverpool’s win over Chelsea was their 3000th victory of all time, while it was their 50th Anfield win against the west London outfit.
The Reds will be aiming to extend their immense start to the new season against RB Leipzig in the Champions League on Wednesday night, before a crucial league clash against Arsenal next Sunday.
Liverpool have conceded just five goals in 11 games so far this season, keeping seven clean sheets along the way, while they have scored 25 times in all competitions.
