'Ten Hag has lost the plot' - Absurd claim sparks Man Utd outrage
Jose Mourinho was the star of the show when Manchester United faced Fenerbahce midweek, but Erik ten Hag has made sure to reclaim the spotlight with his latest absurd comments.
The Red Devils are in the midst of a rotten run of form. Though they did manage to beat Brentford last weekend after five winless games, they again slumped to a disappointing result in Turkey on Thursday.
Mourinho's Fenerbahce came back from 1-0 to snatch a point against Man Utd, condemning them to their third consecutive draw in the Europa League this term.

The 'Special One' got himself sent to the stands during that affair and later went viral on social media for his hilarious post-match press conference. Not to be outdone, Red Devils boss Ten Hag has now (once again) released his inner Mourinho to take back the limelight.
Ten Hag slammed for Spurs claim
The low point of Man Utd's five-game, pre-Brentford winless came against Tottenham. Captain Bruno Fernandes got sent off and 10-man Man Utd were demolished 3-0 on home soil.
Fernandes' red card was eventually overturned, which has now led to Ten Hag claiming that the game essentially didn't matter, completely disregarding the fact that Man Utd were thoroughly outplayed by Ange Postecoglou's side even before the captain's dismissal.
"I deny and ignore the game against Spurs because we were down to 10 at 1-0," Ten Hag said ahead of Sunday's clash with West Ham. "Then the red card was overturned, so I totally ignore that game.

"That is not a fair assessment to the team to take this into consideration, because we didn't have the chance to bounce back.
"You see, this team is resilient. The team is determined. Brentford, two tough away games in Europe - this team has character and shows fighting spirit and determination to win games."
Naturally, this absurd assertion has invited ridicule. One supporter wrote on social media that Ten Hag has 'lost the plot,' which suffices to sum up the general reaction to his statement.
It is far from the first time that Ten Hag has made completely delusional comments to try and downplay criticism of him and his team. The Dutchman is making himself look like a fool every week.
