Romano CONFIRMS Amorim's Man Utd contract
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed the news about Ruben Amorim's Manchester United contract.
The Sporting CP head coach appears set to become the new Red Devils head coach, following the sacking of Erik ten Hag earlier this week.
The Dutchman was relieved of his duties with United currently 14th in the Premier League table and with only one win in their last eight games across all competitions.

United have only achieved four wins in 14 matches so far this season, with defeats coming against Brighton, Liverpool, Tottenham and West Ham.
There has been a myriad of reports concerning that immediate move, with United expected to pay Sporting a hefty compensation package worth €10 million.
Amorim contract
And now Romano has posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, about Amorim's contract length among other things. He wrote: "Rúben Amorim can be considered new Man United manager, confirmed.
"Portuguese coach will start new #MUFC chapter during the international break;
documents to be signed this week.
"Contract until 2027. Sporting to receive €10m clause — plus €1m for staff/30 days notice."
It has confirmed a report from Italy-based journalist Nicolo Schira who said that the official announcement of the signed contract will arrive on Wednesday.

He expressed that Amorim has agreed a contract until 2027 at Old Trafford, with United agreeing to pay the €10 million release clause in his Sporting Lisbon contract.
While Amorim is on his way to United, quite when he will be installed officially as manager is less clear, as the club have a couple of obstacles to overcome.
His current club Sporting are determined that they should not only get full value for their manager but also his staff. The club want money in order to waive his 30-day notice period. It could be another drawn-out affair to bring in the Portuguese.
