Amorim's 'first Man Utd signing' revealed
Manchester United are set to appoint Ruben Amorim as their new head coach and the club have pinpointed who will be his first signing, it is revealed.
The Red Devils decided to change managers after last weekend's late defeat to West Ham United. Ten Hag was sacked less than 24 hours after the setback in east London.
The Sporting CP boss will take over from Erik ten Hag, who was sacked earlier this week. Now a report from GiveMeSport suggests that the Red Devils will look to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers full-back Rayan Ait-Nouri.

The outlet report that: "Amorim will urgently look to acquire a left-sided wing-back after his appointment at Manchester United due to looking to implement the same system he uses at Sporting, resulting in Ait-Nouri emerging as a primary target while Luke Shaw remains on the sidelines through injury."
It also states that Wolves have put a €70 million price tag on his head. This means that a move could be tricky, with PSR restricting what United can spend in the forthcoming January transfer window.
It is thought that Ait-Nouri could be open to a move as he "is eager to test himself at a club challenging for regular silverware if the opportunity arises". It's also mentioned how Liverpool have an interest in the Algerian, with Andy Robertson now past his prime and 30 years old.

h2>Amorim's first game in charge of Man Utd
While Amorim is on his way to United, quite when he will be installed officially as manager is less clear, as the club have a couple of obstacles to clear.
His current club Sporting are determined that they should not only get full value for their manager but also his staff. The club want money in order to waive his 30-day notice period. It could be another drawn-out affair to bring in the Portuguese.
Ben Jacobs reports: “Ruben Amorim is set to stay at Sporting until Braga on November 10. Portuguese sources insist an announcement could come as early as tomorrow [Thursday]. Both clubs declined to comment.
“Also understand that along with Carlos Fernandes, Adelio Candido and Jorge Vital, sports scientist Paulo Barreira and Emanuel Ferro are expected to join Man Utd with Amorim. Former two have been with him throughout his coaching journey.”
This would mean that it might nowt be until the November international break when he takes over, with the Premier League trip to Ipswich Town the first game on his schedule.
