Man Utd make Chelsea transfer decision
Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca still wants to sell Ben Chilwell, with Manchester United reportedly keen again on the defender.
The Italian boss axed Chilwell from the squad for a period, dropping him to the youth side, but then he reserved that decision and allowed the former Leicester City man to play in the EFL Cup win over Barrow.
Maresca was asked at the time whether Chilwell would feature. He said: “I think so. Hopefully, we can give him some minutes tomorrow.

“The idea for him was to leave. At the moment that he’s here, he’s one of the squad, he’s training. He will be in the squad tomorrow, and hopefully we can give him some minutes.”
Chilwell featured for 45 minutes in their 5-0 win at Stamford Bridge but he is still up for sale ahead of the January transfer window, with the coach still not convinced by him.
United want Chilwell again
Now TeamTalk have reported that United are back in for Chilwell, even making him a "top target".
The outlet stated: "Sources have confirmed to TEAMtalk that Man Utd continue to hold concrete interest in Chilwell, having previously taken a look at him in the summer.

"Regardless of whether Erik ten Hag will remain as manager or be sacked, Man Utd are preparing to make a firm effort to sign Chilwell during the winter transfer window."
The club are thought to be hoping to sign the 27-year-old in the winter window, believing that he can come back at a reduced rate. FootballTransfers' Estimated Transfer Value algorithm ranks Chilwell at €16.1m, but he could go for less than that.
United's first-team left-back Luke Shaw has been out injured for a considerable period and behind him is youngster Harry Amass, who enjoyed some minutes during pre-season.
