Pogba CONFIRMS Man City transfer offer
Paul Pogba has confirmed that he received an offer from Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola before returning to Juventus in 2022.
The ex-France international, whose doping ban has been reduced to just 18 months, will return to competitive action in March and he has been linked with a number of clubs amid his uncertain future at Juventus.
A move to the MLS or the Saudi Pro League has been mooted, while Pogba is reportedly hoping to remain at Juventus, despite the club’s desire to offload him.

Following news of his reduced doping ban, Pogba has conducted several interviews with major news outlets, including Sky Sports and ESPN.
In addition, he has also spoken to Italian publication La Gazzetta dello Sport, where he revealed that a move to Man City was possible before he re-joined Juventus in 2022.
When asked about Man City’s interest, Pogba admitted: “Yes, I turned down Pep Guardiola’s approach to accept Juventus’ proposal. That story is true.”
Reports at the time stated that Pogba had accepted personal terms with the Etihad Stadium outfit, but pulled out of the move due to fears over the backlash he would receive from Manchester United fans.

Pogba admits Man Utd exit desire
Pogba has also revealed that he wanted to leave Man Utd three years before his eventual departure in 2022.
He told The Daily Mail: “The year Jose [Mourinho] went and Ole [Gunnar Solskjaer] came, it was my best season at United but after the last game I told Ole and Ed Woodward that I thought it was my last year and that I wanted to leave.
“I was 27 back then, it didn’t work out the way I wanted. I gave my best but I didn’t see the club going upwards. Manchester City and Liverpool were better than us and they were improving.
“Ole said yes [to me leaving] and that he would talk to Ed [Woodward]. My head was already that I wanted to go but I came back for pre-season because I wanted to be professional.
“I spoke to Ed to try to make a move but he blocked it. I didn’t want to play for United anymore but I had to be professional. Mentally I wasn’t there and then I got the injuries.”
