The Turkish wonderkid continues to be the subject of frequent speculation. Despite encouraging performances towards the end of last season and at Euro 2024, regular minutes have been hard to come by at Real Madrid.

Guler is one of the most promising talents in European football and showed all his class on Sunday as he was given a rare start against Leganes. The 19-year-old featured in 75 minutes and notched his first assist of the season in a comfortable 3-0 victory.

All told, however, the attacking midfielder has only played 382 minutes so far this season and this has once again cast doubt on his Real Madrid future.

The youngster certainly has no shortage of suitors. Arsenal were among the clubs scouting him at Euro 2024 and have retained an interest, continuously being linked with swooping for him in a repeat of their Martin Odegaard trick.

Romano rules out Guler exit

However, Fabrizio Romano has now ruled out a transfer of Guler as Real Madrid keep rebuffing any and all approaches for the teenager. "Two clubs, not from Spain but from other countries in Europe, reached out to Real Madrid for Guler once again," he said on his YouTube channel.

"Let me tell you that in the last year from January to the summer transfer window and now in the recent months, I think more than 15, 16 clubs approached Real Madrid - also from Spain - in this general case for Guler.

"Real Madrid always said 'n.' Now, once again, already two weeks ago, three weeks ago, Real Madrid keep rejecting any approach for Guler. No interest in loaning him out, no interest in selling him.

"[They believe] that they signed a fantastic talent in Guler, so [they have] no interest in moving forward in discussions or talks for Guler. He is staying at Real Madrid."
