The Frenchman has been a major disappointment for the Parisians since his spectacular Deadline Day move in the summer of 2023. In the final hours of the window, a clearly desperate PSG shelled out €95 million on the then-Eintracht Frankfurt star, who had arrived in Germany on a free transfer the year prior.

Kolo Muani has struggled to perform in his hometown and PSG have accepted the fact that they won't recoup anywhere close to their original outlay in the event of a departure.

Already in the summer, there were credible links with Borussia Dortmund, illustrating that the 25-year-old's time in Paris is already coming to an end.

Kolo Muani has made just three starts in Ligue 1 this season and talk of a January exit has been rampant in recent weeks.

Kolo Muani rules out January move

Despite his struggles, some Premier League clubs are convinced that there is still a player in there given the stunning performances he displayed during his brief time in the Bundesliga.

The likes of Arsenal and Man City have been said to be keeping tabs on his situation at PSG as both will be in the market for a striker in 2025. Kolo Muani, however, has now ruled out a January transfer.

Speaking to Telefoot, he said: “No, I’ve never thought about leaving PSG in January. I have to work more and make my mark when he [Luis Enrique] calls on me. I think that will do it.”

Despite his comments, it is difficult to imagine that PSG won't be open to a potential sale in the winter. Indeed, it has been claimed that he could be available for as little as €40m in the winter.
