Nkunku to Man Utd: Chelsea star's stance on January transfer
Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunk has not handed in a transfer request nor have Manchester United made any kind of approach for the Frenchman, according to a report.
The 27-year-old is Chelsea's top scorer this season, yet Nkunku rarely starts in the Premier League. The versatile forward has struggled to consistently break into Enzo Maresca's side, with the Italian favouring Nicolas Jackson and Cole Palmer in the two positions the Frenchman can occupy.
Nkunku has thus been restricted to regular minutes in the cups and in the Conference League and this has recently given rise to rumours that he could look to get out of Chelsea.

Initial reports coming from Germany revealed that the former RB Leipzig attacker was frustrated with his lack of Premier League action. At the time, it was made clear that Nkunku was not looking for a January exit.
However, the proliferation of this information quickly gave rise to spectacular claims that Nkunku had appeared on the radar of Man Utd, who were readying a January swoop.
Nkunku to Man Utd truth
Last week, transfer insider Fabrizio Romano expressed his bemusement at these assertions given that new head coach Ruben Amorim has not yet had any time to discuss potential transfers with his new Man Utd bosses.
Similarly, journalist Ben Jacobs has now dismissed claims of an imminent move to Old Trafford as nothing more than 'sensationalist' rumour-mongering.
"I'm not aware the player is unhappy," Jacobs told the Blue Brother YouTube channel. "I'm not aware Nkunku has gone to Maresca or anyone at Chelsea and said he wants to leave. I'm certainly not aware, despite some reports, of any approach from Man Utd."

"At the moment, there is a lot of posturing going on via the media, but it's all very quiet as far as Nkunku is concerned. He has spoken to Maresca, he has been told how integral he is, he has been informed that he will get opportunities in the Premier League and they're very happy with his development at Cobham as well."
Jacobs expects Nkunku to get more minutes in the Premier League during the hectic festive period and urged people not to 'leap to dramatic conclusions.'
