Musiala contract: 'Clear €120m trend' as Man Utd and Man City lurk
Jamal Musiala is increasingly likely to extend his Bayern Munich transfer, according to German media.
The 21-year-old has been locked in on-and-off contract talks with Bayern since 2023 and these negotiations have picked up steam in recent weeks. Musiala's current deal expires in 2026 and the German giants are desperate to make him the long-term face of the club.
The attacking midfielder has been in inspired form this season for club and country and his contract situation has, naturally, attracted the attention of European giants.

The likes of Man Utd and Man City have been linked with Musiala, but according to Sky Germany, there is now a 'clear trend' that points towards the wonderkid extending his contract.
In the process, Musiala will receive a record salary.
Musiala's record-breaking Bayern Munich contract
Bayern are going all out to make sure that Musiala stays at the club for at least the next few years. Including bonus payments and agent commissions, the full value of his new contract will amount to at least €120 million.
Going forward, Musiala is set to earn an annual salary of €25m, making him not only Bayern's joint-highest-paid player but also the best-paid German footballer in the world.

Star striker Harry Kane is currently Bayern's top earner with a base salary believed to be worth €25m, though Sky Germany previously acknowledged that information regarding the England striker's contract is unreliable and differs. His actual salary is likely a little lower.
Either way, Musiala is set to be brought in line with Kane at the top of Bayern's pay roll, but it is not entirely clear yet how long his contract will actually run for. Whether the 21-year-old signs on for four or five years - the maximum length of a Bundesliga deal - is still being discussed.
