Liverpool handed huge competition for Marmoush
Omar Marmoush is on the radar of Liverpool but the Premier League club have been handed stiff competition for the attacker, according to reports.
The Egyptian has been on fire this season for Eintracht Frankfurt, with ten goals and six assists in nine Bundesliga games.
As such, Marmoush has been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Liverpool thought to be keen on the player. But now the Reds have got competition by the way of Bayern Munich, according to reports coming out of Germany.

Florian Plettenberg of Sky Germany tweeted on Monday: "Bayern definitely have Omar #Marmoush on their radar and are considering him for next summer, especially after his stellar performance in the 3-3 draw against Bayern.
"At this stage: no agreements or negotiations, but some initial, informal talks have taken place, and he continues to be monitored. Max Eberl is a fan of the 25y/o striker. 12 goals and 9 assists for #SGE already this season.
"Eintracht Frankfurt is asking for €50-60m. Liverpool also have serious interest, as reported."

Frankfurt want to extend contract
It's thought that his current club Frankfurt are desperately trying to convince Marmoush to extend his contract by a further season until 2027. This will be done as a means to bring in higher bids for the forward in the future.
Marmoush has been billed as a replacement for club legend Mohamed Salah, but Reds fans should rather get excited about a potential partner in crime for the Egyptian King rather than an heir.
The Frankfurt star and Salah occupy completely different areas of the attacking third, with right-footer Marmoush playing either centrally or on the left wing, though the two have very similar skillsets in terms of athleticism, technical ability and their eye for goal.
Frankfurt know that they can't expect clubs to pay €80 million, so they have set a more realistic price of €50m-€60m, which means that Marmoush will be far from a bargain. However, his form over the past two years certainly justifies such a figure.
