Arsenal NIGHTMARE: Man Utd submit €100m offer for Nigeria superstar
Manchester United have submitted a €100 million offer for Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman, according to sensational reports in Spain.
The Nigeria international has enjoyed a rapid ascent to stardom since joining Atalanta in 2022 and he finished 14th in the 2024 Ballon d’Or standings following a sublime 2023-24 campaign.
Paris Saint-Germain were close to finalising a deal for Lookman this summer, after Kylian Mbappe’s departure on a free transfer to Real Madrid, but Luis Enrique’s side were unable to agree a transfer fee with Atalanta.

The Ligue 1 giants remain interested in signing the 27-year-old, but they are set to face significant competition from Arsenal and Man Utd.
Both Premier League sides are eager to bring Lookman back to England, with Arsenal monitoring his progress amid their desperate search for a new winger in 2205.
However, the Gunners have been dealt a hammer blow in their pursuit of the Atalanta star, with Spanish outlet Fichajes claiming that both PSG and Man Utd have already lodged a €100m bid for the ex-Everton winger.
Ruben Amorim is reportedly set to be handed a reduced transfer budget to work with in 2025, following Man Utd’s recent woes in the market, but Lookman is on the Red Devils’ list of potential targets amid reports that Alejandro Garnacho and Marcus Rashford could leave Old Trafford.

Ademola Lookman to leave Atalanta?
Lookman will have just one year remaining on his Atalanta contract when the 2025 summer transfer window opens, with the Nigeria international signing a four-year deal upon his arrival from RB Leipzig in 2022.
The Charlton Athletic academy product has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €19.7m, but Man Utd and PSG are reportedly willing to spend up to €100m to land him next summer.
Lookman has scored eight goals and provided five assists in 14 appearances across all competitions so far this campaign.
