The 17-year-old has burst onto the scene this season and he has been heavily linked with a Premier League transfer in recent weeks, with Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United all eager to bring him to England next year.

Quenda is also wanted by several teams across Europe’s top five leagues, including Bayer Leverkusen, RB Leipzig and Juventus, following an immense start to the new campaign.

The Sporting academy product has shone in a slightly unfamiliar right wing-back role under Ruben Amorim in 2024-25, tallying two goals and two assists in 18 appearances across all competitions.

Amorim is a huge admirer of the teenager and Man Utd are reportedly in talks to sign him next summer.

The new Red Devils head coach has admitted that he will not purchase any Sporting players in January, but Man Utd are keeping tabs on Viktor Gyokeres, Ousmane Diomande and Quenda ahead of the 2025 summer transfer window.

Eddie Howe’s side failed in their attempts to land a new right winger during the summer, with their pursuits of both Bryan Mbeumo and Noni Madueke ending in disappointment.

However, they have reportedly now identified Quenda as a priority target for 2025 as they look to sign an upgrade on Miguel Almiron and Jacob Murphy.

Quenda’s current deal at Sporting runs until 2027 after he signed a contract extension back in September, while his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) stands at just under €10m.
