The Egypt international is the Bundesliga's hottest commodity at present and has continued, and indeed bettered, his already impressive output from last season.

Marmoush is currently scoring almost a goal per match and has already netted 14 times in 16 appearances while also providing 10 assists. This season, the 25-year-old has added more layers to his game, most recently displaying his set-piece prowess by scoring three identical direct free kicks in three consecutive fixtures.

Arsenal and Liverpool are the sides that have been most prominently linked with the striker, while Eintracht Frankfurt are keen to get him to extend his contract. Marmoush was intrigued by the prospect of a summer move in the previous window, but he didn't sulk when it became clear that he would not be able to leave the Eagles.

Liverpool favourites to sign Marmoush

Indeed, Marmoush is in no rush to leave Frankfurt even though he does have the ambition of eventually playing in the Premier League. According to BILD, the forward will not be on the move in January.

Marmoush is determined to see out the season with the Bundesliga side and even a summer exit is not set in stone yet at this stage. Frankfurt are currently third and enjoying a good season. If they keep this up and qualify for the Champions League, there is a chance that Marmoush could be convinced to stay.

It would be a difficult undertaking, however, due to the simple fact that, as mentioned, he is keen to play in England. Preliminary talks with Liverpool over a 2025 move have already taken place and the Reds are considered the favourites to land his signature should he decide to leave Frankfurt next year.
