Militao suffers ACL injury as injury issues at Madrid mount

Real Madrid face a cascade of new injury problems as Carlo Ancelotti’s problems mounted, despite Vinicius Junior inspiring them to a 4-0 victory over Osasuna on Saturday.

The principle problem for Los Blancos is Eder Militao, who will miss the rest of the season with an ACL injury. Antonio Rudiger is now their only fit senior centre-back.

Chelsea accept massive Kepa loss

Chelsea are facing up to the fact that they could lose goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga for just €6 million, despite the Spaniard arriving in an €80 million deal from Athletic Club in 2018.

Now 30, he finds himself on loan at Bournemouth, having signed a new deal with the Blues in the summer to prevent him from leaving on a free transfer at the end of that spell.

That contract, however, has a release clause of just €6m, meaning that the goalkeeper could leave at a staggering €74m loss.
