Chelsea handed HUGE Osimhen boost
Galatasaray have been told they won’t be able to afford a permanent deal for Victor Osimhen next summer.
The Nigeria international is currently on loan at the club from Napoli, but he is widely expected to leave the Serie A giants when the 2025 summer transfer window opens.
Chelsea are set to make a concerted effort to sign Osimhen next year, following their failure to land him this summer, but Galatasaray have been tipped to rival Enzo Maresca’s side for his signature.

The 25-year-old has enjoyed a prolific loan stint at Galatasaray so far, notching eight goals and four assists in 10 appearances across all competitions since arriving in September, and the Turkish giants are keen to extend his stay in Istanbul.
However, former Super Lig manager Yilmaz Vural has insisted that a permanent move to Galatasaray isn’t possible.
Napoli have reduced Osimhen’s release clause to €75 million, but Vural believes this is still far too expensive for Okan Buruk’s side.

Vural, who managed 28 different Turkish clubs during a 29-year managerial career, told Haber Sari Kirmizi: “Victor Osimhen is a magnificent footballer.
“He can pass people with his dribble, he has incredible control over aerial balls.
"He is a real centre forward and his technical and physical characteristics are very good. However, €75m is too much.
"Our big teams like Galatasaray should acquire names like Baris Alper Yilmaz and Kerem Akturkoglu from the lower leagues.”
Arsenal, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Al-Hilal have also been linked with signing Osimhen in recent months, and they could battle Chelsea for his signature in 2025.
However, a permanent move to Turkey appears unlikely due to Napoli’s huge asking price, which is nearly €60m more than Galatasaray’s all-time record signing (Gabriel Sara for €18m).
