David could SHOCK Premier League clubs with Ronaldo link-up
Lille striker Jonathan David is receiving January interest from Al-Nassr, according to a report.
The Canada international is set to become one of the most sought-after free agents of 2025. A prolific striker, David will not sign a contract extension with Lille and take his talents elsewhere next year.
Speculation surrounding his next move has, naturally, been widespread, and the 24-year-old has certainly done little to quieten the rumours as he recently revealed that it is his dream to play for Barcelona.

However, the Blaugrana are still mired in financial difficulties and adding a striker is not a top priority right now, though they are aware of David's situation.
Elsewhere, the likes of Chelsea and Man Utd have been associated with David while he also has suitors in Italy, primarily at Juventus.
David receives Saudi interest
However, Calciomercato reports that there is also interest from further afield. According to the Italian outlet, Saudi giants Al-Nassr will go head-to-head with Serie A clubs for the signature of David.
In fact, it is claimed that Cristiano Ronaldo's side will launch a bid for the Canadian in January to blow the competition out of the water and bring him in immediately. Head coach Stefano Pioli was reportedly already keeping tabs on David while he was still in charge of AC Milan.

However, it remains to be seen if the anticipated offer will actually materialise as Lille president Olivier Letang recently insisted that he would not sell David in January despite the threat of losing him for nothing at the end of the season.
It is as yet unclear if David is willing to head to Saudi Arabia at this stage of his career, though Al-Nassr certainly have no concerns about meeting his significant financial demands.
