Liverpool rub salt in Man City's wounds with new transfer target
Anis Hadj-Moussa is currently experiencing his big breakthrough at Feyenoord.
The Algerian attacker played an excellent game against Manchester City last week and has attracted the interest of Liverpool, reports Algerian outlet La Gazette du Fennec.
Although Arne Slot probably gave his assent to sporting director Dennis te Kloese last spring to make the arrival of Hadj-Moussa at Feyenoord possible, the coach never worked with the winger in Rotterdam.

Slot had already left for Liverpool last summer before Hadj-Moussa took his first steps at the Feyenoord training complex. However, Reds boss Slot has clearly not forgotten about the 22-year-old winger.
Hadj-Moussa gets his big break
Hadj-Moussa started the season as a reserve player at Feyenoord and there was a lot of criticism about his arrival. The attacker had already lost his starting place at Vitesse in the last matches of last season and seemed to be quickly snowed under at Feyenoord.
Partly due to the injury of Calvin Stengs, Hadj-Moussa was given his chance under Brian Priske and seized it with both hands. The Feyenoord winger was one of the stars in the Champions League match against Man City, in which Feyenoord came back from a 3-0 deficit to draw 3-3.

On Saturday, he was convincing again in the match against Fortuna Sittard, which nevertheless ended in a disappointing 1-1 draw. The tally of Hadj-Moussa, who is contracted to Feyenoord until 2029, now stands at four goals in fourteen matches for Feyenoord.
Dutch legend Willem van Hanegem believes that Hadj Moussa has the qualities to enter Europe's elite in the long term. "A few days ago, Hadj-Moussa kept beating one of the most praised defenders in the world, Josko Gvardiol, against Man City", the former Feyenoord player recalls.
"As if the Croat had never seen a dummy, he fell for it so often. If other managers in the Premier League saw Hadj-Moussa in the Champions League this week, they will think: he is a very nice player. Yes, he is 'already' 22, but I do not rule out that he can still reach the top."
