The Egypt international has starred under new Reds boss Arne Slot so far this season, but he is expected to leave Liverpool on a free transfer when his current contract expires at the end of June.

A move to the Saudi Pro League is viewed as Salah’s most likely next step, but MLS side Inter Miami are now eager to win the race for his signature, according to CaughtOffside.

The David Beckham-owned team already have the likes of Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, Luis Suarez and Jordi Alba in their ranks, but they have reportedly identified Salah as a key target for 2025 as they look to bolster their first-team squad even further next year.

However, they are set to face significant competition in the race to sign the Liverpool man, with Al-Ahli, Al-Ittihad, Al-Hilal, Al-Nassr, Barcelona, Inter Milan, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain also interested in completing a deal for Salah.

The 32-year-old has scored 13 goals and provided 11 assists in 20 appearances across all competitions for Liverpool so far this season, and Inter Miami are set to step up their interest in the Egypt international over the next few weeks.

What has Mohamed Salah said?

Following Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Manchester City on Sunday, Salah provided yet another update on his future at Anfield, having previously stated that he expects to leave the club in 2025.

“Honestly, it's in my head. Until now this is the last [Man] City game I will play for Liverpool so I was just going to enjoy it,” Salah told Sky Sports.

“The atmosphere was incredible so I will enjoy every second here. Hopefully we just win the league and will see what will happen.”

Salah is yet to receive a contract offer from Liverpool and he is currently set to become a free agent in July 2025.
