Mount issues 'DEVASTATED' Man Utd message
Mason Mount has admitted he is “devastated” following his latest injury setback at Manchester United.
The former England international moved to Old Trafford for a whopping €64.3 million last summer, but he has endured an injury-hit start to life with the Red Devils and he suffered a leg injury during the club’s 2-1 win over arch-rivals Manchester City last week.
Mount has only mustered 32 appearances (14 starts) across all competitions since his move to Man Utd in 2023, while he has notched just one goal and one assist.

The 25-year-old has missed over 30 matches through injury since the beginning of last season and reports have suggested that Man Utd could look to cut their losses by selling the Chelsea academy graduate next summer.
However, Mount has revealed that he is ready to come back stronger following his latest injury blow.
In an emotional statement posted on Instagram, Mount wrote: “Words can’t portray how devastated I’m feeling right now, you could probably see the look on my face when it happened. I knew what it meant.

“United fans, you may not know me too well yet, but one thing I can guarantee, I will never give up or lose faith.
“I’ve said this before, but I will continue to give everything, get through this tough period and won’t stop until that’s achieved.”
What has Ruben Amorim said?
Following Man Utd’s defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup, Red Devils boss Ruben Amorim was asked if Mount should now be considered ‘injury prone’ following his horrid luck since moving to Old Trafford.
“That is not my department,” Amorim replied. “What I can do is help Mase to teach him to play our game while he is recovering, to give him that time to think about different things.
“With Mason Mount, we are going to help him and it is really hard for him to be out so long. He is trying really hard. If they try hard, we will help them to the end.”
