The Red Devils are currently 13th in the Premier League table and they have lost four of their last six matches across all competitions, including a humiliating 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon.

Amorim has admitted that “everything is so hard” at Old Trafford amid his struggles since arriving from Sporting CP and the Portuguese tactician has repeatedly stated that patience will be needed to rectify the club’s recent slump.

Man Utd have only won two trophies in the last seven years, despite spending over €1.4 billion on new signings during that time, while their last Premier League triumph came in Sir Alex Ferguson’s final season back in 2013.

However, in a bid to improve results next year, the Red Devils are planning on spending €180m to sign Tyler Dibling, Gregor Kobel and Viktor Gyokeres, according to Fichajes.

Man Utd’s transfer plans

Fichajes claims that Amorim is eyeing a €35m move for Southampton wonderkid Dibling, while Kobel and Gyokeres will cost €70m and €75m respectively.

Dibling has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford following his emergence at Southampton this season and recent reports speculate that he could reject a new contract at St Mary’s in favour of sealing a move away next summer.

Meanwhile, Kobel is viewed as a possible replacement for Andre Onana, with the ex-Ajax man at fault for a number of goals over the past few weeks. Amorim has insisted that he remains happy with Man Utd’s number 24, but the club are monitoring a number of goalkeepers amid his recent woes.

Finally, Gyokeres is seen as the ideal candidate to lead the line at Old Trafford. He scored 66 goals in 67 appearances under Amorim at Sporting and Man Utd are eager to rival Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain in the race to sign him next summer.
