Man Utd face SHOCK competition in Heung-min Son chase
Real Madrid are set to rival Manchester United in the race to sign Tottenham Hotspur legend Heung-min Son, according to sensational reports in Spain.
Son, 32, is set to become a free agent when his Spurs contract expires next summer and his situation in north London is being monitored by a host of top European clubs.
The South Korea international has spent the past nine years at Tottenham, but he is yet to sign a contract extension at the club and rumours of a free transfer exit in 2025 have intensified in recent days.

Man Utd have identified Son as a “viable” target for next summer, according to GiveMeSport, with the Red Devils eager to complete a deal for the Spurs forward.
Ruben Amorim’s side are well-stocked in attacking areas, with the likes of Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, Amad Diallo, Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee all at Old Trafford, but they are reportedly eyeing an opportunistic move for Son.
However, the Red Devils are set to face significant competition from La Liga giants Real Madrid, as per Spanish outlet Fichajes.

Kylian Mbappe has struggled since joining Los Blancos from Paris Saint-Germain in July, and Carlo Ancelotti’s side are now looking to sign forward reinforcements next year as a result.
Son has emerged as a legitimate transfer target amid his uncertain future at Tottenham, although competition for places from Vinicius Junior and Mbappe could potentially be off putting to the 32-year-old.
What has Heung-min Son said?
In September, Son addressed his contract situation at Tottenham and hinted that an exit is possible.
“We haven’t talked (about) anything yet,” Son told reporters.
“It was very clear for me, I’m very focused for this season. At this age, every second is like a goal. Especially this season, we are in a lot of competitions, it feels like I’m taking even more care about this.
“I’m just fully focused on this situation and this year. I just want to win something that everybody in this club and these players and all around deserves. That’s what I’m working for.
“In the future, you never know what’s going to happen. But I will make sure I give everything for this club. It’s almost ten years that I give everything. We’ll see what happens. I still have a contract with the club which is the main important thing. I just want to give everything while I have my contract.”
