CONFIRMED: Kolo Muani talks as ‘strong chance’ message sent
Randal Kolo Muani transfer talks have been confirmed, with Manchester United and Liverpool both tracking the PSG attacker.
Kolo Muani has found himself frozen out by head coach Luis Enrique, failing to make the squad in either of the Parc des Princes club’s final two matches of 2025.
Now the France international striker is seeking to manufacture a deal during January, as confirmed by Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sport Deutschland.
“Randal Kolo Muani is set to leave PSG during the winter transfer window. Concrete talks with potential teams about a loan deal are ongoing. PSG would like to include an obligation to buy,” Plettenburg reports.
“Currently, there is a strong chance he will move to the Premier League.
“Understand Liverpool have gathered information, but nothing further has happened yet. Manchester United are monitoring the situation, but Man Utd do not currently expect a transfer to happen in January. Tottenham and RB Leipzig are interested. More teams keen on him.”
Kolo Muani’s best move
Of the clubs interested in Kolo Muani, Liverpool are the most suitable for the striker, according to data analytics firm SciSports, whose Career Advice tool gives the Anfield outfit a Club Fit score of 74. This is based on a variety of factors, including formation, style, playing time and potential development.
Man Utd only score 67, though this does not yet fully take into account the changes being implemented at Old Trafford by Ruben Amorim.
Tottenham, meanwhile, get a 66 along with RB Leipzig.
Aston Villa are rated the best destination for Kolo Muani with an 83. Unai Emery’s side can give him the playing time and style that could allow him to thrive, even if the formation is not one that maximises his qualities.
Another potential move could be Arsenal, with the Gunners earning a score of 78.
While Kolo Muani’s destination is unclear, it is increasingly obvious that he will leave PSG.
