Ruthless Man Utd keeping tabs on Onana replacement
Manchester United are scouting Royal Antwerp goalkeeper Senne Lammens, according to a report.
After David de Gea was forced out in 2023, the Red Devils looked to have sorted their goalkeeper position for the long term with the acquisition of Andre Onana from Inter.
Despite a glut of early mistakes, the Cameroon international did eventually come good and establish himself as a solid Premier League shot-stopper. However, in the early weeks of Ruben Amorim's reign, blunders have once again crept into Onana's game.

The 28-year-old committed errors against Nottingham Forest and Viktoria Plzen and then conceded directly from a corner against Wolves, while his deputy Altay Bayindir did not fare much better during the rare opportunity he was afforded against Tottenham in the Carabao Cup.
Unsurprisingly, then, the state of their goalkeeping department has now prompted Man Utd to take action.
Man Utd scout new goalkeeper
At least that is according to The Telegraph, which reports that Red Devils scouts have been keeping tabs on Royal Antwerp keeper Senne Lammens in recent times.
The highly-rated Belgian has supplanted the previous No.1 Jean Butez and is impressing this season, which is thought to have also put him on the radar of Borussia Dortmund.

Signing a goalkeeper is not a priority for Man Utd in January as they simply don't have the funds available, but a new face could arrive between the sticks in the summer, especially if Bayindir departs in search of regular first-team minutes.
22-year-old Lammens is seemingly one of the top options Man Utd are considering as he would shore up that position for years to come should he manage to live up to his significant potential.
For now, Onana remains the undisputed No.1 at Old Trafford, but that may not be the case beyond the summer.
