Man Utd receive SHOCK Tyler Dibling update
Southampton boss Russell Martin has suggested that it will cost Manchester United in excess of €50 million to sign Tyler Dibling next summer.
The 18-year-old has established himself as a key player at St Mary’s so far this season and he has attracted significant transfer interest from a host of Premier League clubs, including Man Utd.
Dibling, who spent one month at Chelsea before returning to Southampton in 2022, has made 16 first-team appearances across all competitions during the opening few months of the 2024-25 campaign, scoring once and providing two assists.

His emergence onto the senior stage has caught the attention of Man Utd scouts, and the Red Devils are reportedly eager to bring him to Old Trafford in 2025.
However, while Dibling is yet to sign a contract extension at Southampton, Saints boss Russell Martin has revealed that the 18-year-old’s left foot would cost at least €25m.

What has Russell Martin said?
Ahead of Southampton’s clash against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, Martin told reporters: “I was told some rumours about Man Utd, one was a bid of £21m. I'm not sure you'll get his left foot for that!”
However, Martin also provided Man Utd with a glimmer of hope by admitting that Southampton have been unable to tie Dibling down to a new deal.
“We have offered him a contract, a really good contract for someone his age,” Martin revealed.
“At the minute, I don't think his agent agrees, so that's where we're at.
“I think Tyler wants it done, I think Tyler's parents want it done, so we'll see how long that takes.
“There is an option. We can extend. I don't think we want to do that - we want to reward Tyler for his performances.
“I've spoken to Tyler's mum and dad about it, I've spoken to Tyler, but then I'm not involved in any of the negotiations - that's down to Phil [Parsons, chief executive] and the gang, the owners and Tyler's agent - and that's where it gets tricky.”
Dibling’s current contract at Southampton runs until 2027, while his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) stands at €8.1m.
