Man Utd and Arsenal sent Matheus Cunha transfer message
Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Vitor Pereira has insisted that Matheus Cunha isn’t for sale during the January transfer window amid interest from Manchester United and Arsenal.
The Brazilian forward scored his 10th Premier League goal of the season directly from a corner during Wolves’ 2-0 win over Man Utd on Boxing Day as the Molineux side claimed their second consecutive victory under new boss Pereira.
Cunha joined Wolves from Atletico Madrid for a whopping €50 million in 2023 and he has quickly emerged as the club’s most important attacker since leaving Spain for the Midlands.

Man Utd were heavily linked with a move for the 25-year-old last summer and the Red Devils retain a strong interest in the Brazilian amid Marcus Rashford’s uncertain future at Old Trafford.
Ruben Amorim has excluded the ex-England international from his last four matchday squads, while Rashford has admitted that he wants to leave the club in 2025.
Furthermore, The Telegraph claim that Arsenal have now joined the race for Cunha as Mikel Arteta looks to bolster his forward options during the January transfer window.

Cunha is capable of playing as a winger, an attacking midfielder or a central striker, and his versatility is seen as a key attribute by the Gunners following the recent injuries to Bukayo Saka and Raheem Sterling.
What has been said?
Despite interest from Man Utd, Arsenal and Tottenham, Wolves boss Pereira has insisted that Cunha will not leave Molineux in January.
Following Wolves’ 2-0 win over Man Utd on Boxing Day, Pereira was asked whether his side must keep hold of Cunha during the winter window.
“Of course,” he told Amazon Prime Video Sport. “I agree with you [Matt Murray], we need his quality.”
Cunha has two-and-a-half years remaining on his current Wolves contract, while his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) stands at €25.3m.
