Arsenal Transfer News Today: Benjamin Sesko BID, Alexander Isak BLOW, Sverre Nypan BOOST
FootballTransfers runs through all the latest Arsenal transfer news, rumours and gossip, including updates on Benjamin Sesko, Alexander Isak and Sverre Nypan.
Benjamin Sesko bid
Arsenal have submitted a €70 million offer for RB Leipzig forward Benjamin Sesko, according to TodoFichajes.
Mikel Arteta has admitted that he is eager for the Gunners to dip into the transfer market to land a new striker following Gabriel Jesus’ ACL injury and FootballTransfers understands that Sesko is his priority target.
Arsenal have now lodged a €70m bid to sign the Slovenia international, as per TodoFichajes, as they look to land the RB Leipzig star this month.

Alexander Isak blow
Arsenal’s hopes of signing Alexander Isak in 2025 have been dealt a blow following news that Newcastle United are set to offer him a new contract at St James’ Park.
The Sweden international has scored 17 goals in 21 Premier League matches so far this season and Newcastle will offer him a new long-term deal this summer, as per The Telegraph.
Isak has been linked with a move to Arsenal for several years, but Eddie Howe’s side are reluctant to lose him and they have insisted that he isn’t for sale at any price.

Sverre Nypan update
Arsenal are leading the race to sign Rosenborg midfielder Sverre Nypan, according to RMC Sport.
The Norwegian is also being courted by Manchester City, as per the report, while Manchester United have been heavily linked with a move over the past few months.
Nypan was in attendance at the Etihad Stadium for Man City’s 3-1 win over Chelsea on Saturday, but he would likely be loaned out to Girona before being integrated into Pep Guardiola’s side.
However, Nypan would reportedly be given an immediate first-team role at Arsenal, and the Gunners are therefore in pole position as things stand.
Dusan Vlahovic latest
Juventus are trying to push Dusan Vlahovic out of the club this month after leaving him on the bench for a third successive game.
Vlahovic has been a substitute for Juventus in their last three games, against Atalanta, AC Milan and Napoli, and Italian media believe that Juventus want to sell the Serbian before the end of the transfer window.
Arsenal have been heavily linked with a move for Vlahovic, however FootballTransfers revealed earlier this week that talks have broken down between the two clubs.
