Arsenal and Chelsea in DREAMLAND as Barcelona make transfer decision
Barcelona are targeting an ambitious free transfer move for Tottenham Hotspur captain Heung-min Son, according to reports in Spain.
The 32-year-old is due to become a free agent when his contract in north London expires at the end of June, and Barca are reportedly eager to sign him amid their current financial struggles.
The Spanish giants have been unable to register Dani Olmo or Pau Victor for the remainder of the 2024-25 La Liga season and they could be forced to dip into the free agent market yet again this summer.

The likes of Ilkay Gundogan, Wojciech Szczesny and Andreas Christensen have all joined Barcelona on a free transfer over the past few years, and Son could become the latest player to secure a Bosman move to Camp Nou.
Although Tottenham are eager to extend Son’s contract at the club, he is open to a summer departure and a move to Barcelona is on the cards, as per El Nacional.
Hansi Flick is determined to bolster his attacking roster with reinforcements this year, and Son has been identified as a key target, alongside Bayern Munich star Leroy Sane, who will also be available on a free transfer this summer.
The South Korea legend is Tottenham’s fifth-highest goalscorer of all time, with 169 strikes across all competitions, but he is yet to win a major club trophy in his entire playing career and he is now considering his future with Ange Postecoglou’s side.

Arsenal and Chelsea in dreamland
News of Barcelona’s interest in Son will be received particularly well by both Arsenal and Chelsea.
The former will be buoyed by the fact that Nico Williams is unlikely to secure a Camp Nou transfer if the Spanish giants seriously pursue a summer move for Son. As a result, Arsenal could soon become the frontrunners in the race to land the 22-year-old.
Meanwhile, Chelsea’s chances of signing long-term target Raphinha will improve dramatically if Son moves to Barcelona.
The Brazil international has shone as a left winger so far this season, registering 25 goal contributions in just 25 games, but he could be sold to alleviate Barcelona’s financial concerns, with Son potentially arriving as his replacement.
