Chelsea agree RECORD transfer for prolific wonderkid – Fabrizio Romano
Chelsea are set to add another wonderkid to their books after agreeing a deal for Kazakh teenager Dastan Satpaev in a record transfer.
The Blues have already developed a reputation for making big investments into teenage stars before their profiles grow, having conducted similar deals for talents such as Kendry Paez and Estevao.
Satpaev appears to be the next player in line for such a transfer after Fabrizio Romano revealed that a package worth €4 million including add-ons had been agreed with Kazakhstan giants Kairat Almaty.

The deal would represent a record fee for a player from Kazakhstan and Satpaev is set to join Chelsea on a five-year contract, with a one-year option, when he turns 18 in 2026.
The 16-year-old striker is understood to have had a trial with Chelsea at the end of last year and the Premier League side appear to have been convinced by his credentials.
In a move also confirmed by the BBC, Satpaev is set to join Chelsea’s academy side before a firm decision will be made over his development when he turns professional.

Chelsea set to continue youthful investment
Satpaev attracted attention after scoring 19 goals in 12 games during 2024 in Kazakhstan’s youth championship and he became the youngest player to feature in Kairat’s history when he made his debut last year.
Chelsea will continue adding players like Satpaev to their developmental squad, having also agreed a deal to sign defender Mamadou Sarr from partner club Strasbourg, with the 19-year-old joining in July on a €13m deal.

The Blues have also seen an offer worth €15m for Deportivo youngster Yeremay Hernandez turned down and reports have linked them to Reda Belahyane from Verona.
Sales will also be necessary for Chelsea before the end of the month, particularly if the club wish to push for Alejandro Garnacho, with a move in excess of €60m being lined up for the Manchester United star.
