The Toffees are eager to dip into the loan market following the appointment of club legend David Moyes as Sean Dyche’s replacement, and they have identified Chilwell and Dewsbury-Hall as two potential targets.

The pair have struggled for game time at Stamford Bridge so far this season and have been heavily tipped to leave the club during the January transfer window.

Chilwell has only made one appearance for Chelsea since Enzo Maresca’s arrival in July, with Marc Cucurella and Renato Veiga preferred at left-back, while Dewsbury-Hall has been unable to usurp Enzo Fernandez, Moises Caicedo or Romeo Lavia in central midfield.

The 26-year-old was signed from Leicester City for €35.4 million last summer, however his time at Chelsea hasn’t gone to plan, despite the fact Maresca was keen to bring him to west London.

Dewsbury-Hall has made 15 appearances across all competitions, but he is yet to start a Premier League game, while he has been excluded from Chelsea’s matchday squad on 12 occasions in the English top flight so far this campaign.

Ben Chilwell and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to join Everton?

Chilwell and Dewsbury-Hall have both been made available by Chelsea, and Everton are now set to hold talks with the Blues over potential January deals, according to CaughtOffside.

However, the Goodison Park outfit will be unable to sign either player unless they offload one of their current loanees.

Everton have already used up their allocation of four loan spots (Orel Mangala, Jesper Lindstrom, Jack Harrison and Armando Broja) and must cut ties with at least one of those stars if they want to land Chilwell or Dewsbury-Hall.

CaughtOffside report that Moyes’ side are eager to end Broja’s temporary spell at the club after he suffered an ankle injury that could rule him out for up to 12 weeks.
