OFFICIAL: Man City captain Kyle Walker completes AC Milan transfer
Manchester City captain Kyle Walker has joined AC Milan on loan until the end of the season.
The England international shocked Pep Guardiola and Man City earlier this month when he suddenly requested to leave the club before the end of the January window.
The club captain had been dealing with personal issues and increasingly looked as though age had begun to catch up with him, so he was keen on a new challenge outside of England.

He got his wish in the form of an initial six-month loan deal to AC Milan that can be made permanent at the end of the season for a fee in the region of €5 million. Walker would then sign a contract until 2027.
The 34-year-old leaves Man City after eight years and 319 appearances. Walker won a Champions League and six Premier League titles with the Cityzens after joining from Tottenham for €52.7m in 2017.
AC Milan sign Walker
The right-back had been linked with a potential transfer to Saudi Arabia, but after learning of AC Milan's interest, he decided that he wanted to remain in Europe.
The Rossoneri have endured a disappointing campaign and Walker comes in to replace summer signing Emerson Royal, who arrived from Spurs for €15m but has been nothing short of a major disappointment.

The Brazilian was on the verge of a quick exit, with Galatasaray in advanced talks to sign him, but the deal collapsed after he suffered an injury that will keep him out of action for over a month.
In addition to Walker, Milan had also been in talks with Man Utd over a deal for Marcus Rashford. However, due to post-Brexit Serie A rules, they had to pick one or the other and decided to sign the more affordable Man City captain.
