Man Utd latest: Rashford 'in talks' to join European giants
Manchester United reportedly want to offload Marcus Rashford during the January transfer window and a move to AC Milan is now on the cards.
The former England international hasn’t featured for Man Utd since 14 December and he was excluded from their matchday squad to face Liverpool on Sunday afternoon, with Ruben Amorim citing illness as the reason for his absence.
Rashford has been heavily linked with a move to both Barcelona and Arsenal amid his Man Utd woes, although FootballTransfers understands that he is unlikely to join Mikel Arteta’s side this month.

However, AC Milan have now joined the race for his signature and Man Utd have even held talks with the Italian giants, according to Relevo.
The Red Devils are eager to finalise a loan deal with an option to buy, and Milan are reportedly interested in signing the 27-year-old as they look to close the gap to the top four in Serie A.
Rashford has seven goals and three assists in 24 appearances across all competitions so far this season, although Milan could be forced to break their transfer record to land the Englishman given his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) currently stands at €54.1 million.

What has Marcus Rashford said?
News of Milan’s interest in Rashford comes following his recent admission that he is keen to leave Man Utd in 2025.
“For me, personally, I think I'm ready for a new challenge and the next steps.” Rashford told Henry Winter in December.
“When I leave it's going to be ‘no hard feelings’. You’re not going to have any negative comments from me about Manchester United. That’s me as a person.
"If I know that a situation is already bad I'm not going to make it worse. I've seen how other players have left in the past and I don't want to be that person. When I leave I'll make a statement and it will be from me.”
Rashford continued: “I’m halfway through my career. I don’t expect my peak to be now. I've had nine years so far in the Premier League and that’s taught me a lot, that’s helped me grow as a player and as a person.
“So I don't have any regrets from the last nine years. I won’t have any regrets going forward because I take things day by day and sometimes bad things happen, sometimes good things happen. I just try and keep a fine balance.”
