Man Utd summer transfers 2025: Every signing, sale and loan

Manchester United have endured a fairly miserable 2024-25 campaign and Ruben Amorim is hoping to sign reinforcements during the upcoming summer transfer window.

The Red Devils were fairly busy in January, although the bulk of their business was outgoings due to limited transfer funds.

Marcus Rashford (Aston Villa), Antony (Real Betis) and Tyrell Malacia (PSV Eindhoven) were all sent out on loan, as were youngsters Daniel Gore (Rotherham) and Ethan Wheatley (Walsall).

Lecce star Patrick Dorgu and Arsenal wonderkid Ayden Heaven were the only new arrivals during the January transfer window, with Amorim unable to secure his desired centre forward.

However, Man Utd are widely expected to sign a new striker this summer amid significant interest in both Victor Osimhen and Viktor Gyokeres.

A new central midfielder may also be pursued, while Amorim is eager to bring Sporting CP youngster Geovany Quenda to Old Trafford in a bid to bolster his options at right wing-back.

Meanwhile, several players are set to leave Man Utd on permanent deals this summer. Rashford and Antony could be sold following their loan spells away from the club, while Alejandro Garnacho may depart after major interest from Chelsea and Napoli in January.

During the 2024 summer window, Man Utd spent €213.5 million on five new signings, with Leny Yoro (€62m from Lille), Manuel Ugarte (€50m from Paris Saint-Germain), Matthijs de Ligt (€45m from Bayern Munich), Joshua Zirkzee (€42.5m from Bologna) and Noussair Mazraoui (€15m from Bayern Munich) all arriving at the club.
