PSG head coach Luis Enrique has given a crazy response when asked about transfer rumours linking striker Randal Kolo-Muani with a potential move to Manchester United or Tottenham.

Kolo-Muani has been frozen out by the PSG boss for recent matches and the centre-forward also sat out Sunday’s 2-1 victory over Saint-Etienne at Parc des Princes, a match in which a double from Ousmane Dembele helped secure the win.

The France international did not even make the squad for the match, with his last appearance on 6 December against Auxerre.

PSG have offered Kolo Muani to the likes of Man Utd, Spurs and Juventus, according to reports, and the notoriously spikey head coach Luis Enrique has refused to discuss the case of the 26-year-old.

He was asked about the striker following Sunday’s match and replied: “I don’t know. For me, the transfer window is more like the market for fruit, fish and bread. I’ve got nothing to say.”

Despite interest from Man Utd, Juve appear to be leading the race for the striker as the Turin side seek more options in attack.

Barcola backed amid Kvaratskhelia rumours

PSG are hoping to land Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in a blockbuster January deal that could push Bradley Barcola out of the starting XI. The France winger has failed to score since October, perhaps fuelling the club’s desire to sign the Georgia international star.

Luis Enrique refused to be down about the performances of the former Lyon player.

“It's mostly confidence. He's a sensational player, he's the same, for me, as he's been since the start of the season. He doesn't score but he's still exceptional,” Luis Enrique explained.

“He's at a point where he may not have confidence, less maybe. But what's important is what he brings to the team. He makes assists, he defends... It's true that this isn't his best moment. But he'll come back because he's a great player.”

According to L’Equipe, PSG could sign Kvaratskhelia by the middle of the week in a deal that will naturally put into question how Luis Enrique intends to field both him and Barcola in the same team.
