The 26-year-old striker joined PSG for €80 million - plus €5 million in bonuses - in summer 2023 but has fallen out of favour with manager Luis Enrique, despite the Spanish coach initially requesting his signing.
Kolo Muani has started just two Ligue 1 games this season, mustering a total of 14 appearances in the league and Champions League, and has only two goals to his name this term.
Overall, the France international forward has scored 11 times in 54 matches for PSG, struggling to regain the kind of form that brought him to prominence with Eintracht Frankfurt.

"That Tottenham are interested is very logical when you look at their issues at the top of the pitch," The Sunday Times' Chief Football Correspondent Jonathan Northcroft tells the Transfers Podcast of Kolo Muani.
"It might sound weird with Tottenham, although Dominic Solanke has been a success, but they're not scoring enough goals from their all-out attack and [Heung-min] Son is on the wane at the moment."
Kolo Muani agent busy talking to clubs
The writing was on the wall for Kolo Muani as early as his first season at the Parc des Princes with Luis Enrique losing faith in him as a starter.
PSG have now told Kolo Muani's representatives they can explore potential transfers, with the French champions preferring a sale to facilitate their plans for a new striker.
"His agent's been given an open door to offer him to any club to see if they can find the deal, which Paris Saint-Germain would prefer to be a purchase," says The Transfers Podcast's Duncan Castles.
"They want money as quickly as possible in order to buy a replacement player who they've already identified."

However, while the player's agent reports strong interest from several clubs, PSG are yet to engage in direct negotiations and expect other potential suitors to emerge.
The current market conditions may frustrate PSG's preference for an outright sale, with few clubs possessing the finances for such an investment.
As such, the Parisian club may need to consider alternative arrangements, including a loan with an obligation to buy or potentially a loan/swap deal.
However, a swap deal involving Manchester United's Marcus Rashford appears unlikely.
The England forward has been offered by his agents to top European clubs, with attraction coming from AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund, but PSG have cooled their previous interest in him.
Luis Enrique harbours doubts about the player's fit within his system. "They think they can get a cheaper and more suitable replacement for their squad elsewhere," says Castles.
