Napoli have reportedly informed Manchester United that Victor Osimhen could be available for a cut-price fee if they are able to sign Alejandro Garnacho.

The Serie A giants have identified Garnacho as their dream replacement for Kvicha Kvaratskhelia, following the Georgian’s move to Paris Saint-Germain, although they are set to face significant competition from Chelsea.

Antonio Conte is determined to bring the Argentina international to Naples, and the Italian side have already reached a full agreement on personal terms, as per multiple reports.

However, Napoli are yet to match Man Utd’s asking price of €77 million, with the Red Devils unwilling to sanction Garnacho’s exit unless they are fairly compensated.

In a bid to lower their outlay on Garnacho, Napoli are open to offering Osimhen to Man Utd for a reduced fee, according to Sport Mediaset.

The Nigeria international has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford for several months and he has been identified as the club’s “dream” signing for 2025.

Osimhen is currently on loan at Galatasaray, however Man Utd are eager to end his loan spell in Turkey by signing him on a permanent deal before the January transfer window slams shut.

Viktor Gyokeres has also been touted as a possible signing for the Red Devils, although the Sweden international is expected to leave Sporting CP this summer, rather than in January.

What has Victor Osimhen said?

While Man Utd are interested in signing Osimhen in January, the Nigerian has previously admitted that he has no intention of leaving Galatasaray mid-season.

“I will not leave in January, I am at Galatasaray until the end of the season,” Osimhen told reporters in November.

“I do not know what Galatasaray and Napoli are talking about afterwards, but if they come to me, we will talk. Galatasaray is a nice club that I like very much. I am very happy at Galatasaray.”
