Salah announces Liverpool exit

Mohamed Salah has doubled down on the claims that he is “more out than in” at Liverpool by confirming that he expects to leave Anfield this summer when his contract expires.

The Egypt international has been linked with moves to PSG and the Saudi Pro League, and says he does not see himself with the Reds next term.

"It's my last year at the club and I want to do something special for the city," he told Sky Sports.

"It's the last six months. There is no progress [on contract talks]. We are far away from any progress, so we just have to wait and see."

Osimhen wants Man Utd move NOW

A source said to be close to Victor Osimhen has also fuelled transfer talk by claiming that the Napoli striker, who is on loan at Galatasaray, wishes to join Manchester United with immediate effect.

Osimhen has been hot transfer news for much of the last year, with Arsenal and Chelsea primarily linked with him in the summer, but it now appears that the ball is in United’s court when it comes to the Nigeria international.

Speaking to Nigerian outlet ThePapers, a source from the Osimhen camp said: “Victor will move, he may wear the red colours in England, there are moves already and it is what he wants.”

The former Lille striker has been linked with a potential swap deal for Man Utd outcast Marcus Rashford, who could move to Napoli in part-exchange.

Dani Olmo make transfer decision

Dani Olmo could leave Barcelona on a free transfer in January as the Catalan club struggle to register him for the second half of the season.

The Spain international’s agent, though, has said that the former RB Leipzig player is not actively seeking to leave the club.

Speaking to GiveMeSport, Andy Bara said: “It’s a stressful situation for Dani as it would be for any other player. But he’s a great player and person, he’s trying to be calm.

“Of course, Dani is a winner and he loves to play the games, not to watch them!

“We are not negotiating with any club. Dani is a Barcelona player and he wants to be a Barcelona player. He has made a big effort in his life to be at Barcelona. It was his desire for a long time.

“Barcelona is the first and last option! Dani, his father, family, me, we’re not thinking about other options.”

Olmo has been linked with several Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City.

If he were to leave Barca, it could blow a €168 million hole in their already fragile budget.

Chelsea’s ‘golden’ Guehi chance

Chelsea are in pole position to sign Crystal Palace centre-back Marc Guehi, who was previously on the books of the Stamford Bridge side as a youngster.

Although Liverpool, Manchester United and Newcastle are all interested in the England international, Chelsea are the only team in position to sign Guehi now. The other clubs lack the funds to do so.

Palace have set the player’s asking price around the €90m mark, with GiveMeSport claiming the Blues are ready to test the resolve of the club by making a January move.

Ronaldo in huge Al-Nassr contract extension hint

Cristiano Ronaldo’s future seems to lie with Al-Nassr following comments made by the legendary striker about his plans.

In quotes relayed by Ben Jacobs, Ronaldo said: “I’m happy and my family is happy. We started a new life in this beautiful country. Life is good, football is good. The most important thing is to be professional, to push hard, respect the club, respect your contract and believe that things will change – for Al-Nassr to try to win more titles...

“The AFC Champions League is something I want to win for the club, but the most important is to keep pushing and be professional... I will continue to push and help Al-Nassr to win titles. I believe that this year will be a good year for Al-Nassr.”

The Saudi Pro League side added fuel to fire by releasing a video that showed an emotional message from a fan towards Ronaldo, with the implication very much that the five-time Ballon d’Or winner will be staying on with his current side.

This came after Fabrizio Romano denied that PSG are interested in signing the ex-Manchester United and Real Madrid star.
