Man Utd handed DREAM Osimhen swap deal chance
Napoli boss Antonio Conte is reportedly eager to sign Manchester United outcast Marcus Rashford during the January transfer window.
The 27-year-old hasn’t featured since 12 December after being dropped by Ruben Amorim and he is expected to leave Old Trafford in 2025 after admitting that he is “ready for a new challenge.”
Reports suggest that Rashford has already rejected several lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia as he is targeting an England recall under Thomas Tuchel ahead of the 2026 World Cup in the United States of America.

Furthermore, despite speculation linking the Man Utd star with a mid-season switch to Arsenal, FootballTransfers understands that a move to north London is currently unlikely, with Mikel Arteta’s side focusing on alternative targets such as Athletic Club winger Nico Williams and RB Leipzig forward Benjamin Sesko.
However, Rashford could be handed the perfect Man Utd escape route by Conte, with the ex-Chelsea boss eager to bring the Englishman to Napoli in January, according to The Sun.
Napoli are currently second in the Serie A table, and Conte reportedly believes that Rashford could bolster his side’s attacking output during the second-half of the season.

Victor Osimhen to Man Utd?
The Sun have also revealed that Napoli’s interest in Rashford could open the door for Victor Osimhen to join Man Utd.
The Nigeria international is one of the Red Devils’ primary targets for 2025 and a swap deal bid involving Rashford could help the club beat Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain to his signature.
Osimhen is currently on loan at Galatasaray, however reports have indicated that a break clause was included in the deal, meaning he could leave the Turkish Super Lig outfit in order to join Man Utd this month.
Red Devils head coach Amorim is determined to sign a new centre forward amid Joshua Zirkzee’s struggles in front of goal and Osimhen is viewed as the perfect alternative to Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres.
The Nigerian has scored 12 goals in 15 appearances across all competitions for Galatasaray, and his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) currently stands at €57.1 million.
