Erling Haaland has ignited his feud with Arsenal youngster Myles Lewis-Skelly following the 18-year-old’s red card against West Ham United.

Lewis-Skelly was sent off in the 73rd minute of Arsenal’s defeat to Graham Potter’s side after his challenge on Mohamed Kudus was adjudged to have denied a clear goalscoring opportunity.

The Gunners academy graduate, who has been tipped to receive his first senior England call-up in March, was initially shown a yellow card by referee Craig Pawson, but he was soon shown his marching orders upon a VAR review.

Lewis-Skelly was sent off in a similar vein against Wolverhampton Wanderers in January, although that decision was overturned after an appeal by Arsenal.

Following Lewis-Skelly’s latest infringement, two West Ham fans were pictured doing Haaland’s famous ‘yoga pose’ goal celebration in front of the Emirates Stadium.

The image was posted on Instagram by Manchester City fan account @City_Xtra and, in a subtle dig aimed towards the Arsenal wonderkid, Haaland ‘liked’ the picture.

Lewis-Skelly memorably performed Haaland’s celebration after scoring his first Arsenal goal during the Gunners’ 5-1 win over Man City in early February, and the Norwegian has now hit back following the 18-year-old’s red card.

Erling Haaland vs Myles Lewis-Skelly

The feud between Haaland and Lewis-Skelly dates back to September 2024, with the pair involved in a post-match altercation following a 2-2 draw between Man City and Arsenal.

Haaland’s “stay humble” jibe at Mikel Arteta was the main talking point of the day, but the Norway international was also confronted by Lewis-Skelly after the full-time whistle at the Etihad Stadium.

In response, Haaland appeared to ask: “Who the f*** are you?”

Lewis-Skelly then added further fuel to the rivalry by copying Haaland’s celebration in February, with the image going viral, although the ex-Borussia Dortmund star has seemingly now hit back.
