The 27-year-old left Old Trafford to join Aston Villa on loan during the January transfer window, but he is eager to remain on good terms with his parent club, despite being frozen out by Ruben Amorim.

Rashford could be sold by Man Utd this summer, however the Red Devils are his boyhood club and he wants to avoid causing a rift with the fanbase.

As a result, he is angry at Sancho for his recent Instagram comment, according to The Daily Mail.

Sancho, 24, is currently on loan at Chelsea, but he issued a major dig at his parent club following Rashford’s debut for Aston Villa.

After his first appearance for Unai Emery’s side, Rashford posted on his Instagram page, which prompted Sancho to comment: “Freedom,” referencing the fact that his compatriot has ‘escaped’ from Man Utd.

Sancho is set to leave Old Trafford to join Chelsea on a permanent deal this summer, but he seemingly remains at war with the Red Devils, despite Erik ten Hag’s departure last year.

However, Rashford “doesn’t appreciate” being included in the Englishman’s feud with Man Utd, as per The Daily Mail, and is desperate to remain on good terms with the club.

What has Marcus Rashford said?

Following confirmation of his loan move to Villa Park, Rashford posted on social media: “I would like to thank Manchester United and Aston Villa for making this loan deal happen.
