Manchester United have received another nightmare injury update as Amad Diallo has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
The bad news just won't stop coming out of Old Trafford. Despite Man Utd's controversial FA Cup win over Leicester, it has been a horrendous week for Ruben Amorim and company.
The nine days off between the Leicester game and Sunday's clash with Tottenham should have allowed the Red Devils to get their ducks in a row and Amorim to drill his system into his players.

However, Amorim will now head into the match with Spurs with a decimated team. Earlier on Saturday, it was revealed that Man Utd would likely be without Kobbie Mainoo, Toby Collyer and Manuel Ugarte in addition to other absentees like Lisandro Martinez and Mason Mount.
But even worse news broke on Saturday evening, with the Daily Mail and Fabrizio Romano reporting that winger Amad will be out for the rest of the season.

Man Utd's season over?
The Ivorian has been a rare positive of Man Utd's dire campaign and he has undoubtedly been the club's Player of the Season. But he will now no longer be available for Amorim as an ankle injury is set to keep him out for at least three months.
Since the arrival of the 40-year-old head coach in November, Diallo had been by far and away Man Utd's most potent and creative attacking option, even more than captain Bruno Fernandes.
Without him, Man Utd's already limp attack is at the risk of becoming wholly inadequate. Amad's reliability saved the club on many occasions and his injury could doom any hope Man Utd still had of saving their season.

Academy players Chido Obi-Martin, Sekou Kone, Harry Amass, Jack Moorhouse and Elyh Harrison have all made the trip down to North London with Amorim's squad and some of them will surely be called upon in upcoming games.
Ultimately, though, it will be on the Red Devils' experienced players to save this rotten campaign, but Amad's injury has just made this task eminently more difficult.
