Garnacho PUSHING for move: Man Utd star offers himself to huge club as Amorim picks replacement

Alejandro Garnacho is set to leave Manchester United in the summer, with the winger having already offered himself to a huge European club.
Red Devils head coach Ruben Amorim, meanwhile, appears to have accepted the situation and has already picked the player he wants to replace the Argentina international star.

Garnacho was previously tipped to leave Old Trafford during the January transfer window, but the €80 million fee that the Red Devils demanded saw Napoli ultimately back out of a deal that would have made the player their replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Chelsea also tried to reach a deal involving Christopher Nkunku but could not.
It now seems that the 20-year-old has taken it upon himself to broker a move away from Man Utd, with El Chiringuito (via OK Diario) revealing that the player has offered himself to Atletico Madrid, where he came through the academy.
Journalist Eduardo Inda explained the player’s thought process: “Alejandro Garnacho was an Atletico player before the pandemic, then he went to United and wants to return to Spain because he plays a little more than Arda Guler at Real Madrid, but not much more.”
Interest in Garnacho could yet be shown from Chelsea while there is also the possibility that a deal with Napoli is rekindled.

Amorim has Cunha in mind to replace Garnacho
If Man Utd see Garnacho depart, they have an eye on Wolves ace Matheus Cunha as a replacement for him, GMS reports.
The Red Devils are willing to trigger the release clause of the Brazil winger, who might have recently signed a new deal with the Molineux club, but who has a release clause of €75m (£62m) in that deal.
Man Utd feel that Cunha has both the experience and style to help them thrive in the Premier League.
Any deal for Cunha, though, seems to hinge on offloading Garnacho for a significant fee, with Amorim having previously said Man Utd will have to sell before they buy.
