The Red Devils are expected to sign significant attacking reinforcements during the 2025 summer transfer window and Son has emerged as a possible replacement for Marcus Rashford.

The South Korea legend has less than 18 months remaining on his current contract at Tottenham and a summer exit is reportedly on the cards amid interest from Man Utd.

The Red Devils have been linked with a move for Son for several months and they are now set to intensify their pursuit of the 32-year-old, according to Fichajes.

The Spanish outlet have reported that Man Utd are willing to submit a significant offer for the Spurs captain, with Son described as a potential “luxury reinforcement” for Ruben Amorim’s side.

The Tottenham star has scored 10 goals and provided 10 assists in 35 games across all competitions so far this season, although he has only found the back of the net on one occasion in his last 10 Premier League matches.

Despite this, Man Utd are eager to complete a deal this summer and Spurs may be forced to accept a cut-price bid as Son’s current deal is due to expire in 2026.

Man Utd want Victor Osimhen

Although Man Utd are reportedly interested in signing Son, their primary target for the upcoming summer transfer window remains Victor Osimhen.

The Nigeria international is reportedly 95% likely to leave Napoli on a permanent deal once his loan spell at Galatasaray ends, and Amorim is pushing to bring him to Old Trafford.

Sporting CP goal machine Viktor Gyokeres is still a key target for the Red Devils, but Osimhen has emerged as the club’s preferred candidate in recent weeks and Alejandro Garnacho could be used in a swap deal offer.
