Man Utd in DREAMLAND as €75m star paves way to Gyokeres

Manchester United’s hopes of signing Sporting CP forward Viktor Gyokeres this summer have been boosted by an unlikely source.
The Red Devils are desperate to sign a new striker during the upcoming summer transfer window, amid their current goalscoring woes, and Gyokeres has been identified as a priority target.
The 26-year-old has netted 77 goals in 86 appearances for Sporting, following his move from Coventry City in 2023, and Ruben Amorim is determined to be reunited with the Sweden international at Old Trafford.

However, the Man Utd boss recently admitted that his side will need to sell several first-team players in order to acquire new signings this summer, with Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo among the stars who could be sacrificed.
Despite this, Man Utd may be able to cough up the funds for Gyokeres through a possible move for former academy graduate Mason Greenwood.

Man Utd to earn huge fee from Mason Greenwood sale
Greenwood was sold on a permanent deal to Marseille for €26 million last summer and he has scored 15 goals and provided four assists in 24 appearances for the French giants.
His form has attracted significant interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Luis Enrique’s side have even submitted a formal offer of €75m for the 23-year-old, according to a sensational report from Fichajes.
Man Utd crucially included a sell-on clause of 50% when they sold Greenwood to Marseille last summer, meaning they stand to receive a whopping €37.5m if his proposed move to PSG goes through.
Given the club’s apparent financial situation, those funds could enable Man Utd to sign Gyokeres without needing to offload either Garnacho or Mainoo.
Marcus Rashford and Antony may both be sold on permanent deals to raise money, but Man Utd should be able to keep Garnacho and Mainoo if Marseille opt to sell Greenwood this summer.
