Victor Osimhen transfer is '95% likely'

Victor Osimhen is “95%” likely to be sold by Napoli this summer and Manchester United are “ready” to pay his release clause, according to reports in Italy.
The 26-year-old is currently on loan at Galatasaray, but he will return to Naples following the conclusion of the 2024-25 campaign and he will not join the Turkish giants on a permanent deal, as per Napoli Magazine.
The Italian outlet also claim there is a 95% chance that he will depart Napoli on a permanent deal, with Man Utd ready to sign him amid their pursuit of a new centre forward.

Joshua Zirkzee joined the Red Devils from Bologna for €42.5 million last summer, but he struggled immensely since his move to Old Trafford, while Rasmus Hojlund has also failed to live up to his hefty €73.9m price tag.
As a result, Ruben Amorim is determined to bring a new striker to the club, and Osimhen has emerged as Man Utd’s primary transfer target in recent weeks.
Recent reports have speculated that Hojlund and Alejandro Garnacho could be used in a swap deal bid for Osimhen, however Napoli Magazine claim that Man Utd are willing to trigger his €75m release clause in order to complete a transfer this summer.

Victor Osimhen to join Man Utd?
Osimhen has scored 20 goals and provided five assists in 25 appearances across all competitions for Galatasaray so far this season and his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) currently stands at €67.2m.
Paris Saint-Germain are expected to rival Man Utd for the Nigerian’s signature this summer, while clubs in Saudi Arabia could rekindle their interest after pushing to complete a deal in 2024.
Chelsea, on the other hand, appear to have shifted their focus to Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap, although they were on the verge of signing Osimhen last year and could feasibly re-enter the race to land him when the 2025 summer transfer window opens.
