Victor Osimhen BOMBSHELL: Man Utd change transfer stance

Manchester United have reportedly ended their interest in completing a deal for Victor Osimhen this summer.
The Nigeria international has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford over the past few months, with the Red Devils identifying him as a potential replacement for the misfiring duo of Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee.
However, Ruben Amorim’s side are expected to pursue alternative targets during the 2025 summer transfer window, according to German journalist Christopher Michel.

He posted on X (formerly known as Twitter): “Victor Osimhen is currently not a hot topic at Man Utd. You never know how the market will develop. But that's exactly the kind of transfer the club normally no longer wants to make. Exit clause is said to be around €70m.”
Osimhen has previously been considered to be Man Utd’s primary centre forward target and the 26-year-old is “open” to joining the Old Trafford outfit this summer, as per Fabrizio Romano.
Despite this, the on-loan Galatasaray forward is reportedly unlikely to sign for the Red Devils in 2025, with Man Utd potentially set to pursue a move for Liam Delap, Viktor Gyokeres or Benjamin Sesko instead.

Victor Osimhen to join Arsenal?
Although Man Utd are reportedly unlikely to sign Osimhen this summer, he could be set to secure a big-money move to Arsenal.
The Gunners were linked with a transfer last year, but they ultimately opted against seriously pursuing a deal and their failure to sign a new striker has come back to bite them this season.
As a result, Arsenal are expected to sign a centre forward this summer and they have rekindled their interest in Osimhen by initiating contact with his representatives ahead of the upcoming transfer window.
Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak and Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins are also of interest to Mikel Arteta, while FootballTransfers understands the aforementioned Sesko is a key target too.
