Chelsea receive Alejandro Garnacho CONFIRMATION

Sir Jim Ratcliffe has confirmed that Manchester United will not be required to sell Alejandro Garnacho or Kobbie Mainoo during the 2025 summer transfer window.
The Red Devils have been tipped to consider offers for the pair amid their current financial woes, while Ruben Amorim has previously admitted that Man Utd will need to sell before they can buy this summer.

However, Ratcliffe has insisted that his side will not be forced to offload their talented academy graduates later this year.
When asked whether Garnacho and Mainoo will be sold because of the club’s financial state, Ratcliffe told BBC Sport: “No no. We won't be selling players because of the state we are in financially.
“The club had got bloated so we reduced that and will finish it with a lean and efficient organisation. That's how we will address the costs.

“The player decisions are ones that Omar [Berrada], Ruben [Amorim] and Jason [Wilcox] - and a bit me - will make in the summer. And that will all be focused on how we are going to improve performance. That's all.”
Garnacho and Mainoo have both been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea in 2025, but Ratcliffe has assured Man Utd fans they won’t be sacrificed in order to improve the club’s financial position.

Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo latest
Despite Ratcliffe’s insistence that Garnacho and Mainoo will be able to remain at Man Utd next season, Chelsea are expected to ramp up their pursuit of the pair this summer.
Garnacho has emerged as a key target for Enzo Maresca’s men following Mykhailo Mudryk’s provisional suspension for doping, while Mainoo is being pursued amid Chelsea’s concerns over Romeo Lavia’s extremely patchy injury record.
